Masud Ur Rashid is a professional architect, academician and researcher from Bangladesh. He currently works as Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, Southeast University (Bangladesh). He graduated on the year of 2006 from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh with the prestigious ‘Dean’s List of Honour’ and obtained Master of Architecture degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He is a Doctoral Researcher at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He is an expert in the domain of housing and settlement study. He is working for sustainable and resilience living environment. He does research in Urban/Rural Sociology and Human Settlement. He has various articles and publications on the field of socio-economic and environmental issues that affect housing and human settlement. Besides teaching and research he is an active youth organizer. He is serving the Institute of Architects Bangladesh as the Treasurer.
